This was one of the most surreal and special weddings I’ve ever been apart of. Jane had found me on Instagram in early 2021 when I had just begun my business. We hopped on our consultation call and instantly connected; we both knew by the time the call was over that we were doing this thang and 100% meeting in Key West to get her and Tim married. Jane & Tim have believed in me from the start and I am forever grateful for them for choosing & trusting me to capture their most special day.

So fast forward to December 2021 and the week had finally arrived. I flew down to Key West a few days early to assure I was there on time and to explore the island. The night before Jane & Tim’s wedding we met on Smathers Beach to do a pre-wedding couples session. We did this so they could take a minute to recharged and refocus on each other (& get extra comfy with being in front of the camera). It was beyond gorgeous and we got to get super creative once the sun started setting.

On December 2nd I met Jane and her girls at their Airbnb to get detail and getting ready shots. Then I ventured over to Tim’s Airbnb to snap a few images of him and his guys getting ready and taking a shot of Bourbon. After that little adventure I went back over at the girls place to get Jane getting in her dress.

Once everyone was ready we all headed to the venue, The Ernest Hemingway House, for Jane & Tim’s first look. We had Tim turned toward the greenery in the ceremony area and Jane walked up behind him and put her hands on his shoulders. The cutest thing ever was she kinda tickled his shoulders and you could just tell how excited she was to finally see him. He turned around and it looked like his whole world was standing right in front of him.

Let me give you a little backstory before I continue. Jane-Hannah and Tim have been together for over 10 years. They grew up together & that kind of love is irreplaceable. I’ve never seen two people so in love and obsessed with one another. After their first look they spent a good amount of time just in each others arms, taking in the moment, like they were literally the only two people on this earth.

Soon enough it was time for the ceremony to begin and just as you might have expected the emotions were high for everyone in attendance. They only invited their closest humans and it was the perfect amount of people to witness this most special moment. Jane’s face the entire walk down the aisle was pure love, not only for Tim but also for her two brothers walking her down the aisle. Tim looked at her as if he was seeing her for the first time in his entire life, falling in love with her all over again.

The ceremony was short & oh so sweet. Once it was over we had a plethora of sweet family & bridal party photos and then I brought The Murphys (EEEP!) upstairs of the house for their portraits. We only had about 12 minutes before we had to be off the premise of the venue so we worked fast while keeping the moment alive and full of love.

Then we all met at Two Friends Patio Restaurant near the water for their mini reception. We got a few pictures of their loved ones and then I pulled Jane & Tim into the lil street by the restaurant for some last little portraits in their more casual bridal outfits. Then I handed off their polaroid pictures from the day and sent them on their way to enjoy the rest of their evening with their loved ones. I adore these two humans so very much and feel SO very thankful to know them and their love story.
